Battle of the Diva’s
Beyonce is being sued by fellow diva Des’ree. Des’ree says Beyonce never got approval for performing a song called ‘I’m Kissing You’ and now are heading to a court battle. The song is set for a single release on Beyonce’s next album. I see this one getting worked out with a hefty settlement soon.

This is truly a pity. I am a huge fan of both artists. I doubt that this is a clear defiance on Beyonce’s part, especially since she does not operate on her own accord - she has a whole team including label execs. behind her and it’s unfortunate that someone in her camp dropped the ball. Her simplest actions are always negatively criticized by many so I think that this “true” dispute is the last thing she would have wanted - especially being a song writer herself. I love Beyonce - and believe that she is truly embarrassed and remorseful.
Nonetheless, I think that Des’ree has good cause of action here. This is a clear invasion of her art and I just hope that the entire issue is handled peacefully and expeditiously. I think that Des’ree meant to address principle and not for the degradation of Beyonce.
Anyway this is a dispute between two of the most talented female vocalists (though of completely different styles) out there so I wish them bot nothing but the best!!!
