Britney Spears – I was never addicted

After Paris Hilton, it is Britney Spears making loud claims that she never had any alcohol or drug problem and that she was uselessly thrown into the rehab by her mother. Britney is totally disgusted with her mother, Lynne Spears, her soon to be ex-hubby, Kevin Federline, her former manager, Larry Rudolph and the Promises rehab center where she had shaved her head.

TMZ.com reports that Britney Lynne, Federline and Larry had forced the pop diva to go to rehab. Britney was suffering from an emotional breakdown at the time her second child was born but she hardly had the drug or alcohol addiction problem.

Some other sources tell that Federline had threatened Britney of going to court for the custody of their kids if she did not go to rehab. Poor Britney could not bear the pressure from all sides and consequently made a move to rehab on last February 20.

According to some sources Britney suffered from post partum depression that worsened when the star stopped taking Prozac. Britney was also very upset because of a messy divorce and the manner in which her divorce news was blown out of proportion by the media.

However Britney’s claims seem to be right and there smells something fishy because the Promises people did not give a report of the star singer at the time she checked in. It was not known that whether Britney is positive for alcohol and drugs or not. Britney’s assistant Allie Sims called the center many times asking for a copy of the report showing that she was tested dirty for drugs and alcohol. But there was no report. Britney’s report was given on March 7 i.e. 15 days after the Toxic star had checked in rehab.
