Clarkson beaten by Cyrus

The American Idol for the year 2002, Kelly Clarkson has been pushed to the number two spot by the Hannah Montana singer, Miley Cyrus. Miley, the daughter of the Achy Breaky Heart singer, Billy Ray Cyrus has occupied the number one position amongst the pop girls in America. Her album Haanah Montana 2/Meet Miley Cyrus has 35,000 more sales than Kelly Clarkson’s latest album ‘My December’. Clarkson’s new album lies in a pool of controversies and rumors such as the record label officials at RCA disliking its material and thinking of shelving the release.

But still Kelly has some reasons to rejoice. Her My December album had 291,000 sales the first week which leaves behind the 250,000 sales of her popular Breakaway album.

Apart from this Ryan Adams tops The Billboard 200 charts, Easy Tiger is at number 7 and Beastie Boys’ are at 15^th place with their album The Mix-Up.
