Paris hilton for Pumpkins

The star socialite Paris Hilton has posed for the U.K cover of the Smashing Pumpkins’ comeback single Tarantula. The photograph of the heiress has been taken by the band’s leader Billy Corgan.

Billy tells that he had initially decided to invite Paris Hilton and the former party friends Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan for covering the cover page. But soon he realized that such a session can be disastrous and so he dropped the idea. Billy says “We decided that that was probably gonna be too prohibitive cause then you would get into, like, those girls fighting amongst each other.” He added “Paris I knew personally and I hung out with her a few times, and so I asked her. I said ‘Would you be willing to do this?’ And, God bless her, she came, she showed up at 10 am on a Sunday morning, sat in the chair, got made up and we shot her.”
