Paris Hilton’s presence a relief to other inmates

Paris Hilton, the 26 year old heiress has gained popularity behind the bars too. She is said to be the most famous inmate at the Los Angeles prison. And because of her, other inmates too are getting special treatment.

Contactmusic.com reports that a 35 year old prisoner Soraya Lopez was released early from Los Angeles Century Regional Detention Center because Hilton is incarcerated there. Soraya tells that other prisoners are getting better treatment because the spotlight is on the heiress.

Soraya says “The whole facility is benefiting from her – we all thank her. She’s the talk of the jail – I’d call her the top dog. People are getting fed more and inmates like me are being let out sooner because they don’t want people around her.”

Fox: Hilton is not above law

The Indiana based film and television actress, Vivica A. Fox believes that Hilton is getting the right treatment for what she has done. Fox has no sympathy for the heiress. She holds that law is equal for all and that the celebrities are not above law.

Fox feels that celebrities should accept their punishment with dignity because the whole world watches them. She says “We are not above law. She is going to get more coverage when her butts get out of jail. Its going to be a special alert and we all are going to watch, right?”

Hilton is at present behind the bars for breaking the rules with driving recklessly under influence and with a suspended license. But it said that she will be released on the 25th of this month (June) on grounds of good behavior.
