Shakira to try her hand at acting

No…‘Hips are not Lying’ and this is a truth that Shakira is trying her hand at acting. After rocking in various places of the world, Shakira will now rock at the Hollywood.

The Colombian born megastar Shakira is said to be starring in an upcoming film of the director Mike Nichols. She is planning to take a break from her writing and recording career and focus on acting.

Earlier it was also heard that Shakira signed on to do Alfonso Arau’s ‘Dare to Love Me’ but backed out later because she couldn’t manage to spare out time from her immensely busy schedule.

After the enormous success of her tour, Shakira is now hoping the best for her foray in acting. The only wait she had was of the right director. Shakira told the press that “Usually singers are good interpreters, but not good actors. So you need to get with a good actor’s director. I would have to if the day comes when I do acting.”

Well let’s hope that all the high aspirations of the gorgeous diva come true!
